San Diego zoo is well maintained zoo. This park has very good transportation facilities for people to cover the entire park in one day. Take the bus and go around the zoo to get a good idea of the park. Pandas and polar bears are the main attraction. The new African animals addition is great too.

The San Diego is world-famous, and rightfully so. The experience is almost overwhelming for a visitor, with so many animals to see in so little time. Spending an entire day here was simply not enough. Everything is so well-maintained and, from the looks of the construction going on, about to get even better.

There are a lot’s of animals to see! We spent about 6 hours in the zoo and got to see most of the exhibits. If you don’t want to walk there are two buses that can take you around the zoo. Also, there’s a lift that goes across the park and has great views. The parking is free and you can go out the park and re-enter without a problem.

Best Zoo definitely in United States. The highlight of Zoo are mainly :

    1. Skyfari – first thing to do as people have to wait for it.
    2. Giant Panda and Red Panda – Do it early as it gets crowded
    3. Giraffe in urban jungle – 5 giraffe and a baby giraffe.
    4. African rocks – relatively new but very impressive

Most of the other animals are very similar to what you typically see in any other Zoo.

Safari Park is also a must do which is 50 miles north of this Zoo. Buying 2 visit pass is a better option
